Observation notes: Basking on rocks, vegetation, and logs in a boggy roadside with a number of Lorquin's admirals, fritillaries, and skippers. Almost missed it because the Lorquin's admirals were large and numerous. Overcast, calm afternoon with temperature in low 80's F. I don't recall these in Hood River County before.

Coordinator notes: Andrew Warren's Oregon book listed Hood River County with a question Mark. Contact the state Season Summary Coordinator and ask him if there are more recent records. Warren's book is about 20 years old and I do not keep Oregon records for the Lepidopterists' Society nor for Bamona outside records I approved...Ken Davenport
