Observation notes: Basking on mud in a boggy roadside below a steep clearcut. Same location as my previous observation (1340141) here, but on a different day. This is a different individual, distinguished by no hindwing damage. Evidence the butterflies are resident at this site. Calm, sunny afternoon with temperature in mid 80s F.
