  Sighting 1341629

Observation date: August 28, 2022
Submitted by: Seth Mueller
Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: Spotted in heavily wooded areas of Thurman flats, especially near the creek. Nettles or some plant stung me and my legs burn.
Status: Resident
Verified by: Ken Davenport
Verified date: August 29, 2022
Coordinator notes: Yes, nettles are their host plant. Try Polygonia oreas, they love to land in poison oak along stream in which you have to wade in water up to your needs. But it was well worth it!---Ken Davenport
