Observation notes: The weather was overcast. Light rain in the morning, but cleared up before 11am. Little to no breeze. The caterpillar was found on the ground near my Grapevines and Lilac bush. I found my free range chicken attempting to pick it up. I moved it a few feet away where the chickens could not get it. My soil is very sandy.
