Observation notes: I found this butterfly feeding on one of my Mexican Sunflower plants. I live in South San Jose, CA. I was able to take a short video of the butterfly and got three screenshots that I thought best provided its markings and color. the day was sunny with clear skies at about 75 degrees. There was no wind blowing.
