Observation notes: Menapis and Lysimnia are quite similar and both highly variable. However, in Panama, there is only the "dariensis" sub-species of Menapis, and it matches this pattern well. The three black spots, close together on the FW are consistent. Lysimina in Panama has more yellow on the FWs....

Coordinator notes: Pattern matches the Panama ssp: dariensis. Lysminia in Panama has a band of yellow on its FW. Menapis dariensis has a wavy band on its HW, unlike other Menapis that have a more solid band on the HW.
