Observation notes: Iv'e not seen these caterpillars around in a long time, but I am seeing more this year.. I removed this one from the road to a nice grassy/tree area near by...Its been a really hot October in coastal BC...no rain in ages. Trees near are like a red maple tree, and a birch I think..A green hedge that has little purple flowers(reminds me of Bridlewreath bush)...
