Observation notes: Brown moth with blue, white, and purple features. Very large. Wingspan from top of my middle finger to the bottom of my palm. Cool shaded side of building in far-east Forth worth near I-30 freeway. Thick wooded vegetation surrounding the building. Insect was motionless and unbothered by many people walking closely by. Insect remained for 6 hours before flying away as it was getting dark.
