Coordinator notes: I'm leaving the status unknown. The literature indicates that this sp. has been extirpated from south Texas although I don't think that's correct. There are a few sightings in the Big Bend area but they are historical and not accompanied by photographs. This example looks quite fresh and may very well be resident in Brewster County. This is a really interesting sighting and thanks for submitting it.
