Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: Nectaring higher up along the edge of woods and old field by RR ROW. Pearl Crescents were lower in the grass and short brush. Aware they only have one brood in Spring, but unconfirmed if there are later broods..."dead ringer" for Northern Crescent when compared to professional I.D. publications.

Coordinator notes: This may be the Northern Crescent (P. cocyta). However, it is more likely the unnamed entity currently thought to be a double-brooded new species or a hybrid species (tharos x cocyta).
