Observation notes: I went to look for this species after seeing a report from a week or two prior. I found it as soon as I entered an area of mature, open Lodgepole Pine forest (not doghair stuff; large diameter lodgepoles with no sign of beetle kill anywhere). It landed on the root ball of a fallen lodgepole and let me get a few photos before dashing off.

Coordinator notes: A really worn one at the end of the flight (best late June to early July)...perhaps a new Boulder Co. locality? Mike
