Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: A nice little group on a hilltop, including the photographed trio that included a mated pair and an interloping male. Over a dozen seen in a short time. A first for me in Boulder County, but of course it's a matter of being in the right place at the right time.

Coordinator notes: Nevada is not commonly found much below 8000 ft. in the eastern Front Range...they also tend to have more "fractured" macular bands on the hindwings than ones as close as Park County (Hall Valley and into South Park) which are more complete (which is also as typical to western Colorado populations).
