Observation notes: Leaf mine with cocoon was found on 10/16/21 on Lonicera morrowii. A few more mines with actively feeding larvae were found the same day, and all mines were bounded by the midrib of their leaves and caused the whole leaf to curl latitudinally. Frass was compacted in one corner of the mine or occasionally in the center of the mine. The cocoon was a thick, somewhat shiny brown silk ovoid ball. This cocoon was put in a fridge in early November 2021 and was taken out on 3/5/22. The adult eclosed 3/25.
