Coordinator notes: Your photo appears to be nominate chalcedona and I myself visited Aliso and Bates Canyon last spring. Nominate editha occurs on the coastal plain in that county and luestherae may or may not occur in the Sierra Madre. No one has collected the inland ranges editha in Santa Barbara County...Ken Davenport
