Observation notes: Found two caterpillars on sweet potato plant. Inactive during daytime. Seems to have eaten whole leaves off sweet potato plant at night. Disappeared three days ago possibly burrowing into soil of planter as there is a hole the size of caterpillar and top soil is moved. Weather was mostly overcast with rain and wind some sunshine as well.
