Observation notes: Sunny day. The butterfly flew around in the backyard stopping to land among dead leaves, the back step and patio, the side of the house, also on my little dog's back a couple of times.

Coordinator notes: Nice sighting and can confirm. These butterflies overwinter as butterflies so are often early seen on warm days in spring.
