Observation notes: There were a couple of VERY FAST fluttering Marine Blues around the blooming Little Leaf Sumac and Potentilla in my back yard; these two photos don't appear to be the same individual (one more tattered). I call the one with a view of the upper wings a male; I think the other is also a male but a bit more difficult to tell. No one sat around very long to get their photo taken!
