Observation notes: These butterflies have been everywhere and I have submitted sightings in the last week or so. But wanted to share this photo of the upper wings of a female which seemed striking to me, and the pic of the threesome. Note that all the places where I saw multiple individuals displaying and chasing, etc. were on wild licorice.

Coordinator notes: terrific shots! the female seems to be giving the "don't bother me" signal and in the lower photo seems to show two males trying to make a good impression.
