Observation notes: Sunny, few clouds, stiff breeze, near noon, about 80 degrees; Extensive wetland; About a dozen of these insects found feeding on isolated ragwort-appearing plant next to large, shallow lake; Nearby were willow, oak, sycamore, autumn olive, honeysuckle, sumac, grasses, water lilies, American Bullfrogs, Painted Turtles, Canada Geese, Wood Ducks, Great Blue Herons, many songbirds;
