Observation notes: Found in a range of elevations from 8000 ft (near the starting point of the hike) to about 9000 ft in both Turkey and Skull Canyons, with few individuals here and there. The area was lush, unusually so for the time of the year. It rained as we were arriving, but the day turned out to be pleasant if quite windy.
