Observation notes: A warm and breezy day - the day after several cool and rainy days. The butterflies are out! This Regal Fritillary was nectaring on Common Milkweed along the gravel country road. 75 degrees with 14 mph winds. It took shelter on the road for a minute, which is where I got its photo.
