Observation date: June 19, 2023

Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: It was abundant throughout the meadows of Hubbell Canyon and the small clearings in the conifer forest around it along the trail. What I saw were mostly males, but I did photograph a few females, all of which had an appearance similar to the one pictured, even if not all were as well preserved. There was water running down the canyon and spilling into swampy areas. The weather was quite windy.
