Waved sphinx
Ceratomia undulosa

Observation date: June 25, 2023
Submitted by: Arthropoda7
Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: The individual was discovered sleeping in the center of the walking path, camouflaging to the pavement. If not for their large size, the subject would most likely not be alive. Not much behavior to note after waking them up to relocate. They did appear to favor the black bristles of the broom over the vibrant, green plants close by. There is a hard-to-notice bump on the subject's back, above the head.
