Observation notes: Fringes on both FWs and HWs checkered, and submarginal HW markings darker. I would only expect to see C. neglecta here this time of year, but this individual seems like it has C. ladon traits? It was rather fresh, and was average size as expected (not larger). Curious on your thoughts…thanks!
