Observation notes: Observed in the Santa Fe National Forest on the Windsor Trail and along the Rio Nambe. Numerous(!) individuals seen all over the ground, rocks, trees, etc. Did not see them eating leaves, but saw them "hanging out" on branches of small trees (possibly aspen saplings) as shown in the picture.
