Observation notes: First seen along the road, then on alfalfa. In constant flight, but I managed to get a couple of decent photos. Weather: mid to upper 70s F, light wind, clear sky. I was quite surprised to find this species so far west.

Coordinator notes: Yes, great record a bit west of what I'd consider it's normal range as why I will record this as a stray. Alfalfa fields are excellent locations which attract stray species to area. Definite COUNTY RECORD for this species in Kansas. Thank you! JAMES STEEN
