Observation notes: Thinking this is likely Horace's Duskywing. The dark appearance is somewhat of a concern here, although with the very intense sunlight at mid day, this might play into that. I see dark marginal spots on HW, limited gray overscaling on FW. I see you had a record from 7/15 at Capulin that is also darker than most others. More limited opportunity to get photographs than I would have liked...
