Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: Length about 5-6 mm. Inside the collecting vial it appears to jump from one side to the other a lot like a jumping spider. The collection time is not precise. This moth was netted sometime between about 8:30 am and 6:30 pm. It may have been day-flying or more likely flushed from roadside vegetation. The collection location also is not very precise. It was within about 2.75 road km either side of the indicated location. Deserted gravel logging road through Spruce, Subalpine Fir and Lodgepole Pine forest.
