Observation date: July 11, 2023
Submitted by: Krysdouble
Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: Found on Turtlehead (Chelone glabra) planted this year near a house. On webbing, appear to be two different levels of development and (empty?) white eggs present at the same time. Largest instar present (near the eggs) appears to have pale stripes running the length of its body.

Coordinator notes: E. phaeton is known to feed on turtlehead, and feed together in a web; those are the small instars. I don't know what the larger striped insect is, however; its image isn't in focus. Interesting photos.
