Coordinator notes: In Colorado, we have three known species of Azure Blues...the Northern Azure in the mountains; Hop Azure (C. humulus) and Summer Azure (neglecta) sparingly...to rare and uncommonly encountered in riparian areas on the eastern prairie. Echo Azure maybe in arid places in SW Colorado (feeds on hops...or these could be humulus) and southward in New Mexico and on south and west. Presently, genetic analysis on these do not sort them out very well to distinct species...they all read very much alike. Mike
