Observation notes: I took several pics of this moth and video. Sunny day, it flitted around the flowers (butterfly bush) for quite awhile but doesn’t really land. It hovers. I went out again 2 days later and saw a couple more. The one i got a photo of that day was very similar but wings edged more in a brown instead of the very fine black outline. This is in Northern California, Grass Valley.
