Date notes: First saw and held Friday, June 23rd around 11:30 pm. Then placed (her) outside on a new Japanese maple tree. The next day, she laid a small clutch of eggs.

Observation notes: After laying her eggs, she hung around for another night, but was gone by Sunday morning. I am currently feeding the three caterpillars that hatched and hope to see them through to their metamorphosis!
