Observation notes: Largest moth I ever seen on my back deck. 4 " , the siding is 6" planks, took the whole thing up. Broome county, NY. It's been extra extra humid this year, but again it stopped me in my tracks , it's 3 inches from my door right at eye level. Beautiful specimen, my cat was really not happy I would not let him have it. I didn't disturb it, let it be and gracefully apologized for ruffling any feathers .
