Observation notes: Saw several in the heat of the day on purple vetch and fireweed. Sunny warm day, about 24 degrees C at noon. Had rained two days before and forest fire smoke dissapated. The body seems very big and when it flies the wings seem to beat fast. Not a moth because of the antennae?
