Observation notes: We've been looking at Gray vs. Common lately. I put Common here as a placeholder. Do the prominent dark eyespots on the ventral hind wing help lean to a particular ID?

Coordinator notes: I just sent you a (underexposed) guide to the buckeyes. my reading indicates that the warm brown dorsal ground color plus the broad orange DHW submarginal band are consistent with Common.
