Observation notes: Hilltopping. Showed up about 10. There were at least 4 individuals thought to be males. Photos of 2 of them (this sighting and the next). I believe there are Unsilvered but looking for confirmation that they aren't the faded version of Coronis.

Coordinator notes: This is the nominate subspecies which I had experience with this butterfly in 1977 and 1984 in Santa Cruz County. Few find it and these are not coronis.-Ken Davenport
