Observation notes: In May of this year I spotted a Silver-spotted Skipper female ovipositing on Hosackia rosea plant. I brought home a couple of eggs and raised the larvae. They successfully pupated so I put the pupae outside thinking they would over-Winter and emerge next Spring. To my surprise a beautiful female emerged today.
