Observation notes: Found in my aunt's lawn in west Edmonton, Alberta. We have never seen this kind of caterpillar before. It was the size of my index finger ~7cm. When we tried to flip it gently with a leaf, it curled up and stuck to the leaf. We then saw the mouth and sticky brown feet. Black hairs, yellow spots, red spots. 28 degrees and sunny today.
