Observation notes: Spent most of the afternoon on and around the Joe Pye plants in the front yard. Also nearby are echinacea and many milkweed plants, though the butterfly seemed to land solely on the Joe Pye and occasionally on the rock wall. Warm, sunny day, a little breezy.
