Coordinator notes: Northern Blue male...a more unusual sighting because of the altitude but definitely based on the uniformly blue wing surfaces and the underside shot which does show, though not real clear, the small orange spots at the edge of the hindwings and small disc spots. Type locality of our subspecies sublivens is Tomboy Road above Telluride...just over the way from your sighting location. Mike
