Observation notes: Several caterpillars seen around a newly planted dogwood seedling. Seedling was dead and was one of many other new plantings. Observation was a casual sighting at the time so details are limited with the potential of gathering more information upon request. Other plantings did not have catepillars on them and were not affected. Weather conditions were hot and muggy.
