Observation notes: Wherever I travel this summer I am seeing these flying. Nowhere else have I seen this many in one location (Monitor Pass). It was ground zero for H. lineata. There were at least a few hundred zooming about and almost all were feeding on Monardella. What an incredible and beautiful sight.
