Observation notes: Several, perhaps 8-10 individuals were seen at various points along the "Planet Walk" along a 100 meter stretch of the trail, in every case, either patrolling a small stretch of the trail or perched on low overhanging vegetation (Mulefat or Lemonadeberry or some other chapparal vegetation. Sometimes one would encounter another on patrol and chase/combat would occur. They seemed almost uninterested in the camera and I was able to get close to several for close-up pictures. Weather was warm, sky clear.
