Coordinator notes: Actually, this is a Desert Black Swallowtail, the yellow form which looks like an Anise Swallowtail which last I have heard is not in Clark County. Note the more rounded spots on the forewings and the upper median band ocellate in shape rather than rectangular. Your find is better than an Anise Swallowtail as far as I am concerned!-Ken Davenport
