Observation notes: Never saw one this far west before so i was a little caught off guard especially when my cat ate it. :(

Coordinator notes: I have little doubt this female was brought here from elsewhere, a pupa on a trailer or otherwise. It does appear she has laid some eggs - may I request that you destory them, as there are plenty of oaks around Joint Base Lewis-McChord, and we wouldn't want another non-native species established.
