Observation notes: I know this isn't likely to be up here in Sonoma County, but the lightness of color, pattern, and hindwing silver looks more Coronis to me. In a neighbors pollinator garden, at the edge of develop and the beginning of vineyards and hillsides in east Windsor. Pleasant upper 70's. I know they are dispersive, but... .

Coordinator notes: Both zerene and coronis are recorded for Sonoma County. I personally have no experience with the zerenes in that part of the state but yours does look like nominate coronis. No way to know for sure without a collected series.-Ken Davenport
