Observation notes: Sunny, high 70's, calm. This butterfly was seen on Zinnias growing in a raised bed. That raised bed is adjacent to another raised bed that was full of 'Swallowtail Fennel' plants. (I looked but never saw any caterpillars on the fennel this summer.)
