Observation notes: found on Terminalia capatta- was inadvertently stung- sting comparative to a honey bee sting combined with a burning sensation over the entire area of contact; within 5 minutes the affected area starts to swell and as this was on the palmar side of my trapezium I experienced joint pain the length of my forefinger to start with but after 10 minutes it also affected thumb and middle and fourth fingers too; at 15 minutes I experienced wrist pain and a dull ache under my armpit as my lymph system kicked in; the stinging burning sensation lasted 10 hours unabated, the hand joint discomfort had not subsided fully even at 14 hours post sting - next morning still had stiffness in the MCP joints on two of my fingers- subsided later that day
