Coordinator notes: This is a great example of the intergrade species known as the "Midsummer Tiger" or the "July Tiger." It shows traits of both P. canadensis and P. glaucus. Flight starts in late June near the end of the P. canadensis flight and becomes common in July. Also, this individual would be too fresh for a late-flying P. canadensis. Recent literature supports evidence that P. glaucus isn't found in the Ottawa region, and the tigers present in this area are only P. canadensis and P. canadensis x glaucus. -jmgesell
