Observation notes: Moth was fluttering over/feeding on purple flowers of American Searocket (Cakile edentula) growing along a narrow strip of beach (between Crescent Beach Road and the calm waters of Ship Bay). Temperature was about 66 degrees F, warm in the sun, and no breeze. Only this one moth was seen.
